Will my shoes stretch or soften over time?Updated 2 months ago

From the very first wear, your Sécra shoes begin to take shape around you. The premium leather is intentionally structured to support your feet, then gradually softens to create a fit that feels uniquely yours.

If your shoes feel a little snug at first, try wearing them for short periods of around 20 minutes at a time. This allows the footbed to mould to your natural shape and the leather to stretch evenly. Most pairs soften beautifully within a week or two of regular wear.

If the straps still feel too tight after this period, you can try the hairdryer and stretch method: apply heat to the area that feels snug for about 30 seconds from about 8 inches away, then gently stretch the leather by hand. Slip your foot back in and wear them for 10–15 minutes to help the leather adjust.

A light conditioning treatment every few months will help keep the leather supple as it continues to soften with time. For tailored fit advice, connect with Sécra Care Team.
